I run a number of Pages on Facebook and I'm always looking for ways to engage with my audiences. Different pages require different engagement methods.
I also have my own profile on Facebook and I often answer the random questions that my friends have answered. Recently these questions have been about "Do you like Marmite?" "What do you call it, a cob or a roll or a bap?" I don't find these questions intrusive and I am happy to answer them.
I have often looked at the source of the question and more often than not they are individuals (as far as I can see)
So, I thought to myself, maybe I could link these questions and build a bigger audience.
Recently, I have asked two questions from two of my Facebook pages.
The first was posted on Tuesday 12th April 2011 for my Facebook Page Great British Jobs (followers 36), where I asked the question "Where do you usually look for a job?" I have received 5 responses.
The second was posted this morning Wednesday 14th April 2011 for my Facebook Page for Ba Recruitment (followers 86), where I asked the question "What is the best breakfast in the world?" so far I have received 15 votes.
I really don't want to alienate my audience with meaningless drivle but now it's a case of what do I do with this information and how can I use it?
